日本宇宙生物科学会第40回大会では、市民公開講座 「北海道から宇宙へ」 を開催します。

宇宙飛行士、JAXA、北海道スペースポート（HOSPO）、自治体、教育・研究の第一線で活躍する登壇者が集まり、北海道における宇宙開発・宇宙利用と、次世代へつながる未来について、市民の皆様とともに考えます。

宇宙飛行士の土井隆雄氏にも米国からオンラインでご参加いただき、宇宙飛行士としての経験を踏まえ、これからの宇宙研究・宇宙利用、そして次世代へのメッセージをお話しいただきます。

後半には、市民の皆様にもご参加いただくパネルディスカッションを行います。

小中高校生、大学生から一般の皆様まで、どなたでもご参加いただけます。

ISS VR体験

同日 16:30–17:50 には、国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）のVR体験も実施予定です。

※体験人数には限りがあります。

【Register for the Public Lecture】

As part of the 40th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Biological Sciences in Space (JSBSS40), we will host a public lecture, “From Hokkaido to Space.”

Speakers from JAXA, the Hokkaido Spaceport (HOSPO), local government, education, and research will come together to discuss space development and utilization in Hokkaido and the possibilities they may open for future generations.

Astronaut Takao Doi will also join us online from the United States to share his experiences in space and a message about the future of space research, space utilization, and the next generation.

The program will conclude with an interactive panel discussion with the audience.

Everyone is welcome, including elementary, junior high and high school students, university students, families, and members of the general public.　

An ISS VR experience is also planned from 16:30 to 17:50 on the same day.

The number of participants for the VR experience is limited.
